*** National Geospatial Data Asset (NGDA) GeoPlatform– a “one-stop shop” for data, services, maps, and galleries across Federal agencies.

Data.gov – the U.S. Government’s Open Data home.

Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) GeoPlatform – providing geospatial data and analytics in support of emergency management.

National Historical Geographic Information Systems (NHGIS) – provides easy access to summary tables and time series of population, housing, agriculture, and economic data, along with GIS-compatible boundary files, for years from 1790 through the present and for all levels of U.S. census geography, including states, counties, tracts, and blocks.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) Data Access Viewer – search for and download NOAA elevation, imagery, and land cover data for the coastal U.S. and its territories.

Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) GeoPlatform – providing geospatial data and analytics in support of emergency management.

U.S. Census Bureau Geography Program – provides reference files, mapping files, and reference maps for U.S. Census Bureau data.

U.S. Census Bureau TIGER/Line Shapefiles – the core TIGER/Line Files and Shapefiles do not include demographic data, but they do contain geographic entity codes (GEOIDs) that can be linked to the Census Bureau’s demographic data, available on American FactFinder.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Geospatial Data Gateway – provides access to a map library of over 100 high resolution vector and raster layers in the USDA Geospatial Data Warehouse.

U.S. Geological Service (USGS) National Geospatial Program – provides a foundation of digital geospatial data representing the topography, natural landscape, and man-made environment of the United States.
