The ONE BAY Livable Communities Working Group was the consolidation of the Tampa Bay Regional Transportation Authority (TBARTA) Land Use Working Group, the ONE BAY Technical Team, and the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC) Regional Planning Advisory Committee. Known as the TBARTA Land Use Working Group from 2008-2012, these three groups held combined meetings to discuss the Tampa Bay region’s land use planning issues, specifically relating to existing land use patterns, long-range land use plans, growth projections, and local community goals. Technical experts from various land use planning agencies, environmental groups, the development community, transportation agencies, and others, regularly participated in this group.
In 2014, this working group became the ONE BAY Resilient Communities Working Group. The ONE BAY Resilient Communities Working Group convenes several times each year to present information and facilitate dialogue about regional resiliency solutions.
